Join your fellow SIR Branch 8 members in the Community Outreach – SIR Giving Back program/activities. Participate when you can, in assisting with projects, while aiding our communities. SIR Giving Back gives you that opportunity.
The regularly scheduled monthly Food Bank activity had 18 members, guests, and 3 spouse / partners, sleeving oranges for the local distributions.A โWHOPPING 5,000lbsโ!! OUT A SIGHTOur other activity was at a Community Church in Pittsburg. Distributing produce and fruits to the local residents.
This is a great way to meet and talk to the people of the area, really โopens you eyesโ to their needs.
Also, the attending members recognize how SIR Branch 8 volunteering is fulfilling.

Give it a try!The Community Outreach – SIR Giving Back activities are co-ed. Spouses, partners & significant others are encouraged / welcomed to participate and sign up for any upcoming activities.
If you have volunteered in an activity previously, please contact us again for the upcoming activity that you want to participate in.
We will continue to provide Food Barrels , or large food bags , for needed donations, at our scheduled monthly luncheons. Look for the SIR โgreeters โ, the barrels or bags will be close! Your continuous contributions are appreciated.
SIR Branch 8 participation in the Community Outreach – SIR Giving Back program demonstrates the heart felt effort of the members support for the community.โGiving Backโ doesnโt require inordinate commitments of time or talent, you can do what you want, when you can and still reap the rewards of Volunteering.
