except the Club Championship’s $10 entry fee

March 18th – Four Man Scramble
Format: Four man teams will all move their ball to the best shot until one ball is holed out.
Teams: Each team will consist of player A, B, C, and D.
Drives: Minimum 3 drives each from players A and B, and 3 drives combined from players C and D. Teams with less than 4 players will follow the directives provided at the morning of play.
Handicap: : Team handicap printed on the scorecard will then be subtracted from total gross score.
Mulligans: No mulligans
SIR 6 inch bump: Within one club length no nearer to the hole, 6 inches on the green.
Gimme putts: No gimme putts. ALL BALLS MUST HIT BOTTOM OF THE CUP.
April 22nd – Match Play Within Each Group
Format: Individual match play within each foursome. Low net score wins the hole. One point for each hole won, half point for each hole tied. The most total points for 18 holes will win the match. There will be one winner per each foursome. Scores and Points will be recorded for each player.
Teams: Pairings will be determined by handicap.
Drives:Each player plays his own ball.
Handicap: Individual handicaps for each hole will be printed as “*” (handicap indicators) on each scorecard for each player.
Mulligans: No mulligans

Gimme putts: All putts must be conceded or hit bottom of cup
May 20th – 4-Club Only Individual Stroke Play
Format: Individual players may only choose a maximum of 4 golf clubs to use throughout the entire 18-hole normal stroke play. Players may not carry any clubs other than the clubs chosen for play.
Teams: No teams, individual stroke play.
Drives: All drives are individually played.
Handicap: Handicap is playing 18 holes with only 4 clubs. Choose well.
Mulligans: Yes, one Drive Mulligan per player allowed. Mark the card when a Mulligan is taken.

Gimme putts: All putts must hit the bottom of the cup
Format: Four man teams will all move their ball to the best drive and each player will then play their own ball into the hole. Record net score for each player on every hole. Cross out the worst score on each hole. Add the remaining 3 scores together on each hole and then add all 18 hole scores together for a total team net score.
Teams: Each team will consist of player A, B, C, and D. Teams with less than 4 players will follow the directives provided at the morning of play.
Drives: Minimum 3 drives each from players A and B, and 3 drives combined from players C and D.

July 22nd – Two Man Alternate Shot
Format: Two man ‘partner’ teams will be established and play a Stroke play round using one ball per team. On the first tee, players will decide who will tee off, which will then be alternated on successive holes. After player ‘A’ tees off, partner player B will play the second shot, ‘A’ the third shot, and ‘B’ the fourth shot, if necessary. This alternate shot format will continue until the ball is holed out.
Teams: 2-man ‘partner’ teams will be established by similar handicaps such that low handicaps play against each other and high handicaps play against each other. Two 2-man partner teams will make up a foursome. A player without a partner can play, but not compete
Drives: Drives will be alternated between partner players.
Handicap: Partner team handicaps will be printed on the scorecard and will then be subtracted from that team’s total gross score.
Mulligans: No Mulligans

August 19th – Four Man Bingo, Bango, Bongo
Format: Each foursome plays a stroke play format. One point is awarded for the first ball on the green, a point for the closest to the hole (should two or more balls appear to be equally close to the hole, each player is awarded 1 point – no measuring is necessary), and a point for the first ball in the hole. Player stroke turns are STRICTLY ESTABLISHED AND MAINTAINED by distance from the hole. The player whose ball is the farthest distance from the hole is next to play. The player with the most points after 18 holes wins in the foursome.
Teams: Each team will consist of one A, B, C, and D player as determined by handicap.
Drives: All drives are individually played.
Handicap: Only used to establish each foursome.
Mulligans: No mulligans.

Gimme Putts: Absolutely no! All putts must hit bottom of cup.
September 16th, 23nd, 30th – Club Championship
Format: Each player may play up to three rounds of golf but only the two best scores will be recorded for the championship.
Teams: Individual only.
Handicap: Both gross scores and net scores will be used for the tournament.
Mulligans: No mulligans.

Gimme putts: No gimme putts.
In order to participate in the 54 hole event, the player will have to have played in at least three Branch 8 golf outing events during 2024.
Pairings: Day 1 – pair by handicap, lowest handicaps will have first tee times.
Day 2 – pair by handicap, highest handicaps will have first tee times.
Day 3 – pair by the best round of the prior two days, best gross score followed by best net score.
October 21st – Four Man Scramble

November 25th – Four Man Shamble & Turkey Shoot
Format: Four man teams will all move their ball to the best drive, then each player will play their own ball onto the hole. Record net score for each player on every hole. Cross out the worst score on each hole. Add the remaining 3 scores together on each hole and then add all 18 hole scores together for a total team net score. Teams with less than 4 players will follow the directives provided at the morning of play.
Teams: Each team will consist of player A, B, C, and D.

Special Turkey Shoot on Par 3’s: On each of the four Par-3 holes, should any player’s drive come to rest completely on the surface of the green, the player will be awarded a “Wild Turkey” for that hole.
