Wine Finders 2
This is a co-ed activity with singles welcomed and each couple/person brings an appetizer to share and brings their own wine glass. The Chairman picks a host for the tasting. The host selects the wine (priced under $20) and we do a blind tasting. The tasting is held at the host’s home.
Wine Finders 2 meets on the second Thursday of even months and we start at 6pm and end around 8:00 PM. We would like to add another couple, any one interested ? Drop me an email at roncassano@gmail.com. Give us a try. I guarantee you will enjoy it.

November 2024
We Will be holding our Holiday “wine event” in December. Members bring their favorite sparkling wine and substantial appetizers to celebrate the season. No tasting, just eating, drinking and socializing. A nice gathering to end the year.
October 2024
We held our Oct 10 tasting of California Chardonnays hosted by Donna Benson in her “new” updated kitchen. A beautiful spot for us to taste and socialize. The winner was the Ironstone Chard brought by Stephen Deness. A tie for 2nd , Van Ruitan (Cassano) and Olema Reserve (Dominguez. All the wines were very nice and the plus is getting together over wine and food.
August 2024
Carl and Barbara Meier hosted our summer garden party at their lovely home in Alamo. The weather was delightful and we enjoyed our wine and ample appetizers outdoors . Lively conversation and great fellowship prevailed. This was our summer tasting when we brought a favorite wine to share. No formal tasting. Just a good time.

On June 13 we tasted Sauvignon Blanc. We were hosted by Manuel and Mona Dominguez. The appetizers were excellent (as usual). All wines were very drinkable. Our winner was the 2023 Ruby Hills Reserve Collection, the Dominguez selection. Second place was Challis Lane from Donna Benson, and third place was the Meiers’ 2022 Josh S. Blanc. An added treat was dessert: Cakes provided by Mona and Barbara, plus a celebration of Carl’s birthday.
