Second Chance Magazine Exchange

 

A table is set up at each Branch 8 luncheon event where attendees can deposit current issues of first-class magazines, the kind they hate to throw away when they are read, but their wives want them gone from the house.  The Atlantic, Smithsonian, National Geographic, American Scientist, and The New Yorker are examples of the kind you’ll find, all carrying articles of enduring value – of course there are many more.  Attendees can take home whatever they like but don’t need to return them.  Importantly, any magazines left at the end of lunch will be recycled: there will be no third chance.
