Holiday Gala

The Holiday Gala is a opportunity for SIR Members and their wives and/or guests to have a fun time at a wonderful event. The event theme varies but the entertainment and food remain constantly outstanding. All SIR Members, wives and guest are welcome to participate.

The event is held annually in December.

January 2026

The consensus of the January Luncheon, from those that attended December 8, 2025, The Holiday Gala, was that it was a lively fun occasion and that their wives and/or guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Big Sir, Dan Smith, thanked the team and asked the people responsible to please continue to perform their tasks to make the December 14, 2026 Holiday Gala, as enjoyable and delightful as the 2025 Gala. All members volunteered, Paula Murphy, (in abstention) Thom Watkins, Tom DiGrande and Buck Cheshire will do their best to ensure the 2026 Holiday Gala surpasses the 2025 Gala in all possible ways. Keeping in mind it is about the wives and guests, not just the SIRs.

So, mark your 2026 Calendar accordingly and look forward all year to the next Holiday Gala.

December 2025

December 8, 2025: The Holiday Gala was a lively fun occasion with a total of 130 attendees, their wives and guests. We had hors d’oeuvres, delicious entrees, free drink tickets, center piece floral arrangements, that lit up, and copious lovely door prizes. The music, decorations, and lightning created a holiday atmosphere and enticed the attendees to dance with great exuberance. Overall, it was a wonderful, delightful night of shared holiday spirit, brotherhood, and love. A special SIR thanks you to all our door prize donors.

December 7^th, 2026, Holiday Gala will be just as exciting and even surpass this one in food, beverage and door prizes.

So, mark your 2026 Calendar accordingly and look forward all year to the next Holiday Gala.

June 2025

The planning committee has met and planned a delightfully, fun, early evening Christmas Gala for you and yours on Monday December 8th, 2025, from 4 to 8:00 p.m. at the Boundary Oak Golf Course Note: For Monday night NFL watchers, the 49ers are on a by that night

This year there will be a social hour with Hors d’oeuvres, and a dinner that will include Pear and Walnut salad, and your choice of Filet Mignon, Baked Salmon, or Lasagna. There will be copious amounts of door prizes, dancing, and a DJ providing music and taking requests for seasonal or popular music of your choice. Cost this year is $75.00 per person. Given today’s economy this is a very reasonable cost for a dinner entertainment and prizes.

We’re halfway to Christmas 2025. It’s not too early to make your reservations for the Christmas Wonderland Gala! Mark your calendar for December 8th and reserve a place at the table for you and your guest!
