Tournament Pre-Payment status by Individual

All events require a $5 entry fee to play,
except the Club Championship’s $10 entry fee once for all 3 rounds

For All Events fee must be in by the Monday preceding the event

March 16th  – Four Man Scramble

Format: Four man teams will all move their ball to the best shot until one ball is holed out.
Teams:
Each team will consist of player A, B, C, and D.
Drives: Minimum 3 drives each from players A and B, and 3 drives combined from players C and D. Teams with less than 4 players will follow the directives provided at the morning of play.
Handicap: : Team handicap printed on the scorecard will then be subtracted from total gross score.
Mulligans: No mulligans
SIR 6 inch bump: Within one club length no nearer to the hole, 6 inches on the green.
Putts: No conceded putts. All putts must be holed.

April 20th – Match Play Within Each Foursome

Format: Individual match play within each foursome. Low net score wins the hole. Player handicaps (bumps) are shown on the scorecard for each hole. One point for each hole won, half point for each hole tied. The most total points for 18 holes will win the match. There will be one winner per each foursome. Scores and Points will be recorded for each player.
Teams:
Pairings will be determined by handicap.
Drives:Each player plays his own ball.
Handicap: Individual handicaps for each hole will be printed as “*” (handicap indicators) on each scorecard for each player.
Mulligans: No mulligans
SIR 6 inch bump: Yes
Putts: Any putt may be conceded when all agree.

May 18th – 4-Club Only Individual Stroke Play

Format: Individual players may only choose a maximum of 4 golf clubs to use throughout the entire 18-hole normal stroke play. Players may not carry any clubs other than the clubs chosen for play. Individual player handicaps are listed on each card to reduce Final Gross scores to Final Net scores. Lowest net score will win.
Teams:
No teams, individual stroke play.
Drives: All drives are individually played.
Handicap: Handicap is playing 18 holes with only 4 clubs, but individual handicaps are printed on each card. Choose well.
Mulligans: Yes, one Drive Mulligan per round. Mark the card when a Mulligan is taken.
SIR 6 inch bump: Yes
Putts: No conceded putts. All putts must be holed.

June 22nd – Four Man Shamble

Format:  Four man teams will all move their ball to the best drive and each player will then play their own ball into the hole. Record net score for each player on every hole. Cross out the worst score on each hole. Add the remaining 3 scores together on each hole and then add all 18 hole scores together for a total team net score.
Teams: Each team will consist of player A, B, C, and D. Teams with less than 4 players will follow the directives provided at the morning of play.
Drives: Minimum 3 drives each from players A and B, and 3 drives combined from players C and D.
Handicap:  Individual handicaps for each hole will be printed as “*” (handicap “bump” indicators) for each hole for each player.
Mulligans: No mulligans.
SIR 6 Inch Bump: Within one club length no nearer to the hole on the drive, 6 inch bump thereafter except on the green.
Putts: No conceded putts. All putts must be holed,

July 20th – Individual Net Stableford Scoring

Format: Individuals play in groups established at signup and play a Stroke play round. Individual golf NET score and Stableford Points are recorded on the scorecard for each hole. Winners will have the highest recorded Stableford point scores
Scoring: Each player shall record a score on each hole such that a NET Bogie = 1 point, a NET Par = 2 points, a NET Birdie = 3 points, and a NET Eagle = 4 points. Winners will have the highest recorded Stableford point scores.
Teams: : Individual play. Foursomes will be established by computer program based on handicap.
Handicap: Handicaps will be printed on the scorecard as “*” (handicap “bump” indicators) and then be subtracted from the Individual’s total gross score on each hole. Only a NET Score and Hole Points are recorded.
Drives: All drives are individually played.
Mulligans: No Mulligans
SIR 6 Inch Bump: Yes
Putts: No conceded putts. All putts must be holed.

Scoring: Each player shall record a score on each hole such as follows:

        NET Bogie = 1 point        NET Birdie = 3 points
        NET Par   = 2 points       NET Eagle  = 4 points.

August 17th, 24th, 31stClub Championship

In order to participate in the 54 hole event, the player will have to have completed at least three Branch 8 golf outing events during 2025 by the Day 2 event.

Format: Each player may play up to three rounds of golf but only the two best scores will be recorded for the championship.
Teams: Individual only.
Handicap: Both gross scores and net scores will be used for the tournament. Individual Handicaps are printed on the scorecards for each player.
Mulligans: No mulligans.
SIR 6 inch bump: Yes
Putts: No conceded putts. All putts must be holed.
Pairings: Day 1 – pair by handicap, lowest handicaps will have first tee times.
                    Day 2 – pair by handicap, highest handicaps will have first tee times.
                    Day 3 – pair by the best round of the prior two days, best gross score followed by best net score.

September 21st  – Two Man Scramble Match Play

Format: Two man teams will move their ball to the best shot until one ball is holed out.
Teams:
Each foursome (2 2-man competitor teams) will consist of players with closely matched handicaps.
Drives: Minimum 4 drives will be required from players each.
Handicap: : For the team with the highest handicap, an asterisk (bump indicator) will be printed on each hole where a handicap is given.
Mulligans: No mulligans
SIR 6 inch bump: Within one club length no nearer to the hole, 6 inches on the green.
Putts: Putts may be conceded by opposing players.

October 19th – Four Man Bingo, Bango, Bongo

Format: Each group plays a stroke play format with no accumulated shot score but points awarded as follows:
One point for the first ball on the green, (available for all tee shots on Par 3 holes).
One Point for the closest to the hole, once all players are on the green. (If two or more balls appear to be equally close to the hole,
each player is awarded 1 point – no measuring is necessary),
One Point for the first ball in the hole.
Drives: Tee shots are random as the scoring is only around the green. Player stroke turns are STRICTLY ESTABLISHED AND MAINTAINED BY DISTANCE FROM THE HOLE. The player whose ball is the farthest distance from the hole is next to play. The player with the most points within each grouping after 18 holes wins.
Teams: Each team will consist of players as determined by similar handicaps.
Handicap: Lowest to highest establishes each grouping (foursome or threesome only).
Mulligans: No mulligans.
SIR 6 Inch Bump: Yes, but not on the green surface.
Gimme Putts: No conceded puts! Balls may be picked up after the “first in” is scored.

November 23rd – Four Man Shamble & Turkey Shoot

Format: Four man teams will all move their ball to the best drive, then each player will play their own ball onto the hole. Record net score for each player on every hole. Cross out the worst score on each hole. Add the remaining 3 net scores together on each hole and then add all 18 hole scores together for a total team net score. Teams with less than 4 players will follow the directives provided at the morning of play.
Teams: Each team will consist of player A, B, C, and D.
Drives: Minimum 3 drives each from player A and B, and 3 drives combined from players C and D.
Handicap: Individual handicaps will be printed as “*” (handicap “bump” indicators) on each scorecard by player for each hole.
Mulligans: No mulligans.
SIR 6 Inch Bump: Within one club length no nearer to the hole on the drive, 6 inch bump thereafter.
Putts: No conceded putts. All putts must be holed.
Special Turkey Shoot on Par 3’s: On each of the four Par-3 holes, any player’s drive ball coming to rest completely on the green surface may be awarded a “Wild Turkey” for that hole. Circle the player’s Net score whenever this event occurs. However, any player having a drive stay on the green, but not in the top three net scores for that hole will have “winged” a Wild Turkey and be disqualified for an award.
